Write a proof that AC = BD.
I can't see the file.
Angle BAB is congruent to angle CBA:Given. angle CAB is congruent to angle DBA(since they're both right triangles:Also given. BA=AB.AB:Reflexive property. The two triangles are congruent:AAS congruence
AC=BD:CPCTC
Someone please correct me if that isn't a complete proof.
Hold on, Angle BAD is congruent to angle CBA, sorry.
So, BA=AB is reflexive property? Or would it be AB=AB?
I think it'd be AB=AB, actually. For reflexive.
Awesome! Thanks. :)
@Shaunticlair Your proof is very good. I did notice it should read 1. Angle BAD is congruent to angle CBA:Given where you wrote BAB by mistake, but you corrected it later. Also, there is one small error. The triangles are congruent by either ASA or LA (for right triangles), not by AAS. AB = AB or AB = BA are both correct by reflexive.
