Why do you feel the author presented themselves in the way?( What's the connection between the way they presented themselves and their claim or audience or subject?) based on the atachment. Please help, check my work.

Well I cant open the attachment for whatever reason, but the author presents not on purpose within their story. Usually you can relate the subject/story back to the author because an Author who likes skipping through fields with butterflies around her wont write about a demonic story. That what you wanted?

Well i was thinking that the author presented himself in this way to show the audience that he is knowledgeable about what he wrote and to put enough evidence to support their claim.

That could be but at the same time, you never said Fiction or Non fiction. If its non fiction you would be correct and if it was fiction, I would be. So why dont you combine both answers?
