use the midpoint formula: ((x1+x2)/2) , ((y1+y2)/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How?

OpenStudy (aum):

(-6, -2) is one point. (-1,5) is the other point. x-coordinate of the midpoint is: (-6 + -1) / 2 = -7/2 y-coordinate of the midpoint is: (-2 + 5) / 2 = 3/2 So the midpoint is: (-7/2, 3/2) If you have questions do ask. If you learn this you will be able to do similar problems on your own.
