I don't understand how to do this quiz. I can only work alone in the options. PLEASE HELP ME! The attachment is below, and thank you.

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u in flvs???

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

no i am in my schools own prsonal online school

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I took the same test in flvs a little while ago. hold on ill check what my grade was and then I can help u out. do u know which chapter it is for u so I can find it easily? it should be the same chapter

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

yes the chapter is the first one. Its name is 'algebra foundations'. The lessons name is 'translations'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I had a 90% on it. I can help u. do u understand the first question??

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

i dont understand anything from it at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok for the first one u have to make up ur 5 own expressions. do u know how to do tht??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but u have to write them in words not in algebraic way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one example is: the sum of 16 plus x minus 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are basically no rules u just have to make sure u write it properly and tht it makes sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u give me ur own example?

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

um sry i was afk . how about... asdfg?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well tht barely makes sense since later on u again have to turn it into algebraic terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also u have to include words in those expressions like: product of sum of quotient of and things like that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also u have to include: minus, plus, multiply, divide, subtract, decrease or increase and times. u have to include words like that

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

oh five WORD phrases i thpught it said five LETTER phrases

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no not 5 letter phrases lol c:

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

then how about 'seven minus five equals two'?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well u have to include variables

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

then x minus five equals two?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill be gone for a couple minutes. ill be back in about 10-20 min. try to figure out some word phrases and ill tell u if they r right or wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and yes tht is correct

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

ok then thanks i have to go eat lunch too, when you come online, just message me or sumthing, i will come on right away!! :3

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

x minus five equals two y plus 9 equals twenty z divided 5 equals 6 a plus b equals c and 5 plus 7 equals f

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

ima go eat now so will be back in 20 or so

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well maybe be a little more creative if u can. for example u could use exponents. thts the best way to impress a teacher and it might help if u get something wrong tht the teacher takes less points off ur grade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also u could use exponents

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean square root. sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or make ur expressions longer

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

but it says five words and im back..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it doesn't mean 5 words. the ones I made were much longer and teachers really like tht. ud get away with things easier too. can u think of an expression?? if u cant think of one I could give u an example

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

uhh 7x^5 + sqrt(xyz-4a)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well tht in word form and I cant even do or solve tht. maybe take a little step back like: the square root of 49 increased by x

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

oh ok then lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol. remember u have to write it with words so its a little complicated with the one u had

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and try not to use plus or minus. it impresses the teachers more if u say add subtract increase or decrease

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

ok then

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so can u make up a couple more. u can use a couple simple ones and some tht r a little more creative

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

ok

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

x subtracted by five is equal to two

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe say is the some of 2 but it is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sum

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

y divided by 9 is the quotient of 92

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tht one is great

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

ok so... wait doesnt it say expressions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes why?

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

i thought expressions meant no equal sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no those r inequalities

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

isnt equation with equal sign and expression without? cause thats what google says

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well they r basically the same.

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

ok then

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

how about z multiplied by 9 is the sum of x divided by 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvr mind I just googled it. u can but u don't have to put an = sign in expressions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tht one is good

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

ok then i kinda ran out any ideas..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well maybe x^4 increased by 7 times t divided by l

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u writing the ones ur using down?

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

oh no great lemme do that

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

i will be afk for a minute while writing these down

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u need 5

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

i got 4, so how about the quotient of x and 7 times 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thts good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so can u tell me all of the ones u have written down??

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

x subtracted be 5 is the sum of 2 x^4 increased by 7 times 1 z times 9 equals x divided 7 the square root of 49 plus x the quotient of x and 7 times 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok tht was number 1. now in number 2 u have to turn all of them in algebraic way. can u do tht for the first one?

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

x - 5 = 2 x^4 + 7 * 1 9z = x/7 sqrt(49) + x 6(x/7)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tht is all correct

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

?what is next

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok in #3 u have to do the same thing just the opposite way. start with the expression in algebraic terms and then translate them into word phrases. the expressions r #3 and the word phrases are #4

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

we have to make MORE expressions? *shuts cpu and shoots himself*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol yeah but now tht u get the concept it will go a little faster

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so give me 5 expressions but in algebraic terms

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

3n - 11 45x - 20 2x + 15 3a + 17 15 - 2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so u just went to the simple ones again? alright thts fine. now put them in word phrases

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

shoulkd i make them harder?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it doesn't make ur grade go worse but if u do it makes them better to impress ur teacher which could really affect ur grade cause she might not take off to many points on a question u got wrong

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

i only have like 3 minutes and i gotta go so three times a number decreased by 11 fortyfive times a number decreased by 20 two times a number increased by 15 three times a number increased by 17 15 decreased by the the sum of two and a number

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

uhh will you be here in, like, an hour and a half?

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

cause i gotta go to costo with my dad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah sure I will be. and tht is correct!! ;)

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

ok then thanks so much. but do u have a phone # or email i can contact u at if ur not there?

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

omg gotta go dad is getting mad byeee and hurry plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I don't give out any information to someone idk in person. sorry. I promise u I will be because I still gotta do some school which will take a while

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

its ok thats fine bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if somebody replies I automatically an email. bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

I'm SO sorry. My computer crashed and I'm doing tho by phone

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

Are u still onli

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

@MilenaSaeger can u plz hlp me>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh im here now. I wasn't home the last couple days

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im really sorry

OpenStudy (ibbutibbu.):

@MilenaSaeger Are u still pnline?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes I am
