jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
it is a hexagon since it has 6 interior angles (so 6 sides)
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
what kind of hexagon and why?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Does the sum of all angles determine if it's concave or convex?
The rules are:
*A convex hexagon = no angles pointing inwards & no internal angles can be more than 180°.
*When any internal angle is greater than 180° = concave.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
The final sum is greater than 180, the angles it self are not.
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
good, so are there any interior angles that are greater than 180 degrees?

The sum of the angles ? Yes
Each individual angle? No
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
so because you don't have any individual angle over 180 degrees, that means you have a convex polygon
