OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which of the following describes the graph of the solution for thirteen r is less than or equal to negative one-hundred-fifty-six ?

OpenStudy (phi):

this is easier to read if you write it using numbers and symbols. \[ 13 r ≤ -156\] divide both sides by 13 can you do that ?

OpenStudy (phi):

btw, if you can't type in ≤ you can use <= to mean the same thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you get 12

OpenStudy (phi):

almost. -156/13 = -12 negative divided by a positive gives a negative

OpenStudy (phi):

and it's good to write down the whole statement on the left side you should get 13x / 13 becomes x so you get x ≤ -12

OpenStudy (phi):

x ≤ -12 means all numbers less than or equal to -12 to show these numbers, we fill in a circle at -12 (to show we include -12 ) and then a line showing all the numbers less than -12
