How are the coordinates of a new point found if the point is reflected through the x-axis? How are the coordinates of a new point found if the point is reflected through the y-axis?

to be honest i guess usually. like if i see |dw:1407105530736:dw| -2, -2 plotted then i sort of automatically know the reflection over the x axis will be -2, 2. over the y axis it would be 2, -2. sorry im not good at explaining:(
