What is a positive impact wind turbines have on our health? Can you please help me out with this one? I researched on the internet but didn't find anything helpful @ganeshie8 @Preetha

@johnweldon1993 Can anyone plz help me out ASAP!!?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

From what I can only think of, I see no correlation between wind turbines and health risks/positive side effects

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So can i say like no pollution or whatever?

@asib1214 @johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um.. hellooo?!!?? anyone!! HELP??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@zepdrix help plz!!!

OpenStudy (asib1214):

well it generates free energy that doesn't pollute the atmosphere and cause us any health risks like respiratory problems, you know that CO2 is the number one pollutant which turns into acid rain and causes shortage of food, and wold life/ our primary food source. So things like that........

OpenStudy (asib1214):

try to brainstorm what possible health issues are associated with generating energy....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so basically i can just say keeps the air clean from any pollutions?

OpenStudy (asib1214):

well that's one way of saying it but it also keeps the atmosphere cool because the Vu rays that are emmited by the sun are trapped by the lower atmosphere, Troposphere, which then are reemmitted by the GHG and cause the global temperature to rise... things like that...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LOL too many BIG words for me xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u plz just keep the answer simple if possible?

OpenStudy (asib1214):

ok keeps the air clean, it prevents the temperature from rising, it prevents respiratory diseases like asthma, nasal cancer.. etc The energy produced by the turbines can be used as a primary source of energy to run hospitals, industries,

OpenStudy (asib1214):

The primary concept of your assignment is that energy is easy to generate but very difficult to store...for exaple one way of storing energy is fuel in a car, because it is stored energy that can be used whenever you want. But then there is an expensive way to storing energy in a form of electricity like Cells, solar panels, and wind turbines, that sort of energy is difficult to store...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright got it! Thanks so much for your help you're awesome!

OpenStudy (asib1214):

stay cute.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thanks.. @asib1214
