Can someone help please? Describe what happens during photosynthesis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The cellular respiration process does not need to be included but I need to be as specific as possible. I'm having a hard time condensing the process into a short summary.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Basically, you're building a more complex molecule from simpler ones -- food in plants. The chemical equation that tells you photosynthesis is: \(\sf \color{blue}{6~CO_2 + 6~H_2O \rightarrow C_6H_{12}O_6 + 6~O_2 }\) which basically tells you that carbon dioxide and water goes in (include sunlight --for energy) to get 1 glucose molecule + air (oxygen)
