Solve the equation: 2 sin 3x + radical 3= 0 Over 0

OpenStudy (jmark):

Given 2 sin 3x + radical 3= 0 or 2 sin 3x = - radical 3 or sin 3x = - radical 3 /2 ....(1) We know that sin (pi/3) = radical 3 /2 But our result is in minus. For that move sine function into 3rd quadrant (because in 3rd quadrant sine function is negative. sin (pi + pi/3) = - radical 3 /2, Put this result in eqaution (1) (1) => sin 3x = sin (pi + pi/3) = sin(4pi/3) or 3x = 4pi/3 or x = 4pi/9 Maths Question Paper for Class 4 CBSE - http://education-help-online.blogspot.in/2014/08/maths-question-paper-for-class-4-cbse.html
