OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ganeshie8

OpenStudy (crashonce):

medal party!

OpenStudy (crashonce):

lol soz @ganeshie8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahah yeah, can you help me? Just give me feedback on several questions lol

OpenStudy (crashonce):

erm im sorta busy

OpenStudy (crashonce):

sorry :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aww what are you doing :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kropot72

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you give me feedback on several questions please???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YOur up?? @LizzyMcWire

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's hard to fall asleep when I actually try to >.>

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha can you help me then??? Just with feedback lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That last question confuses me with the wording, sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The signs just switch

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay hah then i ll ask another one, here give me a second.

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

None of these is the correct answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-,+) -> (+,-) so yes you're correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not done if you want to help please stay!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

AM I right or wrong

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

D is the correct answer i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For reflection?? Oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Luigi0210

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

C or D is the correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you can imagine making perpendicular lines in your head what would you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Think of it as a mirror reflection...therefore you're right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah thanks sprry I was out, can you help me with more??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just need to know if im right or wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're right, just have to plug in the coordinates.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OKay, i have a couple more. ill post one and then when you give me feedback, ill post another sound good??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Go ahead

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember it's (x,y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So do you see a problem here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, -3,5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what would be the transformation process?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to the left 3 and up 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bingo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hah okay next question thanks !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay next!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many do you have haha...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

err if i were to say 5 i would be lying, haha i just need to make sure I pass the test cause. if i dont then my grade will be a c and my mom wont be happy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wish you didn't say that >.<, we're not actually allowed to help on tests, I could get suspended for that :x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha no i have to take a test, these are practice questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like a final exam today at 5:00pm in the afternoon

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha i wouldnt come here to cheat xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iambatman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well in that case, why did you pick the 180 degrees (you should tell me your process, and I'll tell you if you're on the right path or not, otherwise you won't be ready for the test).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well because the triangle rotated 180 degrees, they are separate triangles right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well when dealing with 180 degree rotation see if (x,y) -> (-x,-y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or vise versa

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah! So wait my question is right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait it would be wrong because they don't match up with there new poins if we were to put them in (x,y) --->(-x,-y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mhm, what doesn't match?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Point a is 4, 2 and that doesnt match with -4,-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait..miss counted...hhahah it is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how i got this was, isnt it that when they give you somethign like that the points are the opposite??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+4,x-3) that's 4 units right 3 units down that's how mapping works it means the same thing and it's said "the x and y coordinates will be translated x+4 and y-3."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so you don't have to negate them??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The +4 tells you to add 4 from all x coordinates where -3 tells you to subtract from all y coordinates.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer would be 4 units right, and 3 units down

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, next question,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey, I have to go now, it's really late here and I need to wake up early :).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Aww okay, is there anyone you know that can help me??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good luck on your exam later :P Mhm maybe ganeshie but he seems to be busy teaching someone else right now, but you can try tagging him.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, np good luck on your exam later.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!
