describe some of the challenges facing the American people during the late 20th and early 21st centuries

An out-of-control Federal government. They wield too much power and accept too many bribes. I think it's how out of hand the government has gotten and how it no longer serves the people but only serves big money and corporations. If left unchecked and unfixed, it will become the undoing of this great country, no doubt.

American people have lots of debt, they cant find jobs, there houses go to foreclosure. or the bank gets there house. not enough money to pay rent, or feed children. They work so much but some of there money gets wasted on taxes
