How far have you gotten on this?  Ever heard of what they called the Nuclear Family?

Not just Nuclear, as in the bomb or power, but as in a type of family unit.  It is one of the stages in the western family structure.  If you think about old black and white sitcoms, what was the family depicted as?  that is, if you have seen any.
