OpenStudy (help!!!!):

Help me simplify this. I really don't know why my answer is wrong.

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

\[\frac{36x^2}{9x^2-y^2}+\frac{3x+y}{3x-y}-\frac{3x-y}{3x+y}\]

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

@ganeshie8 @mathstudent55 @SolomonZelman @study100

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

factor the first denominator, and find the common denominator (lots of dirty work)

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

Yeah thats what I did but I didnt get the answer.. @SolomonZelman

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I would like to see what you did.

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

So what I did was find the common denominator for last 2 fractions. Which is (3x-y)(x+y), and I simplified to *-1

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

The answer is 12x/(3x-y)
