What is the main idea of this paragraph? Information is stored on big central computers called servers. Using telephone lines, many computers link to these servers through networks. A wealth of information can travel back and forth between different computers once they are connected. This is why the Internet has also been referred to as the information superhighway. Just as a superhighway allows many cars to travel to different places, the Internet allows many people to access information from around the world.
