Estimate the value of the function at x = 2 given the following graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (agreene):

look at 2 on the x and go up to the line and go over to the y value

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

plug in 2 for x (attachment doesn't work)

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

for me

OpenStudy (mrnood):

Do you know which the x and y axes are? go along the x axes till you come to 2 - go up until you hit the red line - read the point on the y axis level with where you hit the red line....

OpenStudy (mrnood):

It doesn't matter what he graph is - just read up from 2 on the x axis until you get to the red line - then read across from that point to the y axis

OpenStudy (mrnood):

I suspect (and HOPE) that you are not going to get anyone posting the answers to this. It is such a fundamental requirement of maths and science that oyu can read a graph, that you MUST learn how to do this for yourself... Please try - ask if you have a specific difficulty...
