When i learn questions in chemistery and physics then i feel hesitate becoz i learn one and two lines more than 150 times ...and yet i fail after one, 2 hours ...or after 1 or 2 days ...how should i learn Can you please help me to get rid of this ...by telling useful suggestion

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

What school are you talking, online ? Perhaps you should get a better teacher/tutor to explain the chemistry topics, so that you not only try to memorize, but alo to UNDERSTAND everything well. After you understand, you can memorize everything is the bottom line I would say. I don't really remember much from chemistry, even though I used to be good at chemistry before in tenth grade.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I suggest more if I knew more things about chemistry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i understand but sometimes i learn easy things but it make difficult to me ////i mean when i learn the next day it seems that i didn't learn .....i forget completely....and many times i mixup the questions that i learned

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's one thing learning, you can learn as much as you like in one day, but if you don't practice, you will forget, no matter how long you spent ;). Also, when you learn a lot of things and practice, it's good to take a nap right after since it helps you remember.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@iambatman i want to learn more and more but when i learn many hours ....may be you will wonder i learn from dawn to dusk i mean from morning till evening ....and then its make me dissapoint that i learn a little bit ...not as much as i should learn.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well it also depends on your study habits, are you eating at right times, try not to over due it, it's good to learn but if you want to retain I can only say you have to practice or re-read the same thing over and over again. Also try not to be so negative, stress harms the body and makes it more difficult, maybe you are learning but you're not calm enough. So try to relax every now and then, take some breaks in between so it feels like you aren't studying too long.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @iambatman i feel stress that i cover the syllabus...sometimes i don;t feel stress ;;;;i think that its so easy ....but then so easy what i feel ,,,makes ....seems more difficult than diff. questions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Compassionate help please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tkhunny @Kainui @Jonny. @taylor12344

OpenStudy (paki):

i will say just write it down on a paper, what you memorize... you will be then ok so... @ziqbal103

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually ther's one fore factor there that is inner tension within yourself(I've fabricated the wors for the tension)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@paki sometimes i learn by writting.i write many time a topic then i learn ...it's my childhood habit

OpenStudy (paki):

hmm rite... then you must remember that topic too... rite... @ziqbal103

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@paki today you are doing report abusing..btw...now i left ..now..i sometimes learn in this way and 2nd thing is that when learn in heart then it takes much time than to learn loudly ////any one can tell y it is so?

OpenStudy (paki):

@ziqbal103 i think there is no need to say that i am reporting anyone... sure, i will report everyone for breaking the rules.... and second, i also learned my course by reading it loudly....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i feel a strange tension by looking others seeing that others learn so good and longlasting ...and i try to learn more and more but ya to men perhna he chor deta hun ya phir chahe yad ho ya na ho lga he rehta hun |dw:1407525513638:dw|

OpenStudy (paki):

oh meray bhai, yeh kiss ne kaha hai, open study pe loog reply late daitay hain... sab reply fast kartay hain... oos time shayad busy ho woh log, kisi dosray question mai... so please be ok... we will try to help you best... @ziqbal103 also everything will come on "practice"... you know, i learned all my work by speaking it loudly... and then after that i wrote them on paper... and got 3.75CGPA out of 4.00 in my engineering course....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wohe to mera matlb b yehi he bilal @paki

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@paki in graduation you get this cgpa and what is this ''CGPA'' AND IN INTER HOW MANY MARKS U GET ? .....AND in entry test in inter how many marks u get ...u can tell me your marks by pm me

OpenStudy (paki):

gpa means grade points average.... it is the overall average result of all the semesters you studied during graduation... ok... etea entry test = 512 fsc= 857 ssc= 902 thats all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

very good marks very good @paki

if visual learning is better for you or maybe even reading out loud helps a lot or get someone to read it to you. reading out loud always helps me stick it in if not remember key words. funny words in it or different. compare it to this so you remember.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good suggestion @agb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whitemonsterbunny17 will give you good suggestions i bet

Maybe try studying until you've learned two new things or so, then take a rest and ponder over them. Also, use that time to practice. Then continue on. If something isn't making sense, try to re-read. If you are getting too frustrated, take a break. Think of something calming. It also helps to have an open mind, especially if you dislike the subject. Don't overwhelm yourself, and don't become discouraged. \(\large\frak\color{blueviolet}{With~determination~comes~success!}\) \(\large\frak\color{red}{Never}\color{blueviolet}{~give~up~on~yourself.}\) \(\large\frak\color{blueviolet}{No~matter~what~others~say,~you~}\rm\color{lime}{CAN}{\frak\color{blueviolet}{~do~it!}}\) \(\large\frak\color{blueviolet}{Keep~a~positive~attitude~and~outlook~about~it,~and~you'll~achieve~success!}\) \(\Large\frak\color{red}{\bigstar~G}\color{gold}o\color{lime}o\color{cyan}d~\color{blue}L\color{purple}u\color{blueviolet}c\color{magenta}k\color{orchid}{!~\bigstar}\) \(\Large\bf\hspace{31 pt}\color{red}/\color{gold})\hspace{0 pt}\Large\color{greenyellow}♔ \color{cyan}/\color{purple})\hspace{55 pt}\Huge\color{yellow}☀\) \(\Large\bf\hspace{14 pt}\color{red}O\color{red}(\hspace{0 pt}\color{gold}⌒\hspace{5 pt}\small\color{greenyellow}‿\Large\color{cyan}⌒\hspace{1 pt}\color{purple})\color{magenta}o\small\color{magenta}━\color{magenta}━\small\color{orchid}◇\normalsize\color{pink}☆\large\color{red}\bigstar\small\color{gold}☆\small\color{yellow}◇\small\color{lime}\bigstar\Large\color{greenyellow}☆\normalsize\color{cyan}\bigstar\small\color{blue}☆\color{purple}◇\color{magenta}\bigstar\scriptsize\color{orchid}☆\color{pink}◇\) \(\Large\bf\hspace{7 pt}\color{red}☁\large\hspace{2 pt}\color{red}O\color{orangered}(\color{gold}"\color{greenyellow})\hspace{0 pt}\color{greenyellow}(\color{cyan}"\color{purple})\Large\color{magenta}☁\color{orchid}☁\color{cyan}☁\color{lime}☁\color{greenyellow}☁\color{yellow}☁\color{orange}☁\color{orangered}☁\color{red}☁\color{red}☁\) \(\LARGE\scr\color{red}☁\color{red}☁\color{orangered}☁\color{gold}☁\color{greenyellow}☁\color{lime}☁\color{cyan}☁\color{aqua}☁\color{blue}☁\color{purple}☁\color{magenta}☁\color{orchid}☁\color{pink}☁\color{plum}☁\) \(\normalsize\color{red}\bigstar\large\color{gold}\bigstar\Large\color{greenyellow}\bigstar\large\color{cyan}\bigstar\normalsize\color{blue}\bigstar\large\color{purple}\bigstar\Large\color{magenta}\bigstar\large\color{pink}\bigstar\normalsize\color{orchid}\bigstar\large\color{red}\bigstar\Large\color{gold}\bigstar\large\color{greenyellow}\bigstar\Large\color{cyan}\bigstar\large\color{blue}\bigstar\normalsize\color{purple}\bigstar\large\color{magenta}\bigstar\Large\color{pink}\bigstar\large\color{orchid}\bigstar\normalsize\color{red}\bigstar\normalsize\color{red}\bigstar\large\color{gold}\bigstar\Large\color{greenyellow}\bigstar\large\color{cyan}\bigstar\normalsize\color{blue}\bigstar\large\color{purple}\bigstar\Large\color{magenta}\bigstar\large\color{pink}\bigstar\normalsize\color{orchid}\bigstar\large\color{red}\bigstar\Large\color{gold}\bigstar\large\color{greenyellow}\bigstar\Large\color{cyan}\bigstar\large\color{blue}\bigstar\normalsize\color{purple}\bigstar\large\color{magenta}\bigstar\Large\color{pink}\bigstar\large\color{orchid}\bigstar\normalsize\color{red}\bigstar\)

@adilalvi can u please some suggestion here man

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@chmvijay question is above

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

are u good at your fundamental or basic chemistry or physics ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't know @chmvijay

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

you should learn to have logic how these subjects work and what you need !!!

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

idk who is teaching you these stuffs and which school you are going ? how old are u ?

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

what you know about physics and chemistry ?

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

For any subject to be learned properly, you need to first like that subject and should be interested to study it. Chemistry will be much more simpler if you try to watch animations and videos in chemistry. Try to understand and study rather byhearting the definitions... Try to understand the basics in chemistry first.

OpenStudy (mokeira):

I had a problem with Chemistry and Biology some years back. And I would struggle!!!!! i realized that knowing and understanding the basics helps a lot. I would suggest that before you start any topic, first ensure you understand the basics and terms. Do not go ahead if you are not familiar with any term. also, understand your body's study pattern. Find what time is right for you to concentrate . Do a lot of practise questions to ensure you understand....BUT THE BEST OF IT ALL explain to someone what you have studied. This IS THE KEY!!!! By explaining, you learnt to put what you have studied in your own word as you challenege your brain to master the topic...lol, this should help

OpenStudy (mokeira):

I misspelled challenge

OpenStudy (mokeira):

ok you can do many practice exercises...also do not exhaust your brain. As soon as you feel tired take a short break then come back and continue later. do not read in a hurry either, read to understand. Avoid memorizing if possible, just understand the concept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Practise make perfect ....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Imbibe this sentence in: If you are not understanding the topics of Physics and Chemistry, no matter how many times you will study those topics, you are not going to get that in any way, Practice is secondary and is vital but if you are not getting primary thing ie understanding topics then you are in trouble my friend.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I suggest you to do these things if you can and want to: 1. Take interest in whatever you are doing, if you are doing that, you are going towards success.. Set priorities in a day, make small small aims for a day and try to achieve those aims or goals which you are deciding for a particular day, as drops make Oceans, these small goals will let you achieve your bigger goals.. 2. Thoroughly read the topics, try to understand if not on your own, then by your teacher, your friends. 3. Do numericals or questions related to those topics, Numericals show you more clear version of those topics(especially in Physics). 4. In Chemistry, yes there are many exceptions, but still you have to study it, in some areas, Chemistry also gets highly logical, do study those areas.. 5. Revision is must, if you are not doing that, you will surely forget, no matter how deeply you have understood the topic..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And last, Motivate yourself everyday by standing in front of Mirror and saying yes I can do it, Yes I can easily achieve my goals.. Motivate in any way you can but it is the necessary thing you must do on daily basis.. :) Best Of Luck.. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much @waterineyes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should always go back and review whatever you did.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I too had the same problem but now it's quite OK, so I think it is very human. To learn something until we got skilled on them, never give up to practice and practice regularly. To remember one or two new knowledge, I pushed myself to read them repeatedly until they are stored in my mind. Of course, there are some good product of brain nutrition, You can try them but I m not so comfort with those kind of supplement..:) The most effective way to improve your memory is just write everything what you read. This will help you a lot to improve your memory. I have experience it myself. Learning has no ending..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :D :P keep practicing )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nice @aryandecoolest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah!! you shouldn't worry..instead work hard @ziqbal103

OpenStudy (anonymous):

TBH, I dont really know. Like everyone has said, practice makes perfect, then again, nothing is perfect. I think I'm the wrong person to ask bout this stuff because I SUCK at studying or practicing a subject. I'll just Bertell you what I Bertold him. You just gotta go out there and do it! You just gotta be loose and tight at the same time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To help you remember I would suggest that you use flashcards instead of just a piece of paper...there are many ways to do it like... on one side of the card write your question and on the back write the answer or if it is vocabulary then on one side write the word and on the back write the definition when finished to review them you should read the question or word and try and answer it without looking at the back when you do this and you read the back to see if you are right or wrong you should on the very bottom of the card write a check mark for the amount of time you get the answer right.. do this on and off til you think you feel comfortable in taking a test on them.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

I have to go do a job now, but I will try to remember to post some here later. What you need to learn about is the power of memory tools, why spaced repetition is important and how to do it, the importance of self testing, question to question flash cards, consolidation or internalization, and a few other key topics.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I Have never had to take Physics or Chemistry, but I know when it comes to memorizing stuff I right in red pen. I know it sounds stupid but it works for me.
