Pleaseeeeee help! will fan and medal Solve the following quadratic trig equations algebraically (without graphing technology) for the domain 0 ≤ x ≤ 360°. Use exact solutions whenever possible. 6cos2(θ) + cos(θ) - 1 = 0 2 - 2sin2(θ) = cos(θ)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just treat cos \(\theta\) as t, so you have 6t^2 +t -1 =0, solve this quadratic to get t, then, plug back cos (theta) =t to solve for (theta). Practice, I can check your work
