Someone can tell me if my answers are correct or not. Please
???????????????????????????????????
cant read it sorry
Thanks johnp12
Your first answer D is correct, orange the darker color will naturally have a hotter temperature than yellow, but neither box in the second experiment will be hotter than the first since the weather outside was hotter on that particular day :D
Your explanation was fine however you must explain how you arrived at your full conclusion you only explained half of the answer, you may also want to use a complete sentence instead of starting with the word "because". Make sure you have two parts in your response. 1. addressing the temperature inside the boxes (Why you know orange will be hotter) - > Due to the results in the first experiment that because orange is darker color that it would be hotter than yellow the lighter color. 2. The outside environments temperature changed which will indicate that your 2nd experiment could not be hotter than first. ( Starting temp in 1st experiment 72 and Starting temp in 2nd experiment 65).
3. Correct ; Light is obviously the main part of Scotts findings.
4. C is correct, researching information during a given month in a certain place will only let you conjecture that same month and place next year. Great job keep up the good work any q's?
Thanks Nanalew for your help
Only thing just make sure you further explain in question number 2 that the inside of the orange box will be hotter than the yellow box (How do you know this?) -> Due to the info given to you in the first experiment: black paper was hotter then white. Then include your explanation of the outside temp, which you got right! No problem love to help! :D
Ok
The only reason I said that was because the question asks "Explain how you arrived at your answer to question 1" We correctly choose answer D, which states The temperature inside the box with the orange paper will be a bit higher than the box with the yellow paper, but neither box will show temperatures as high as the boxes in the first experiment. So to explain how we arrived at our answer, first we explain how we know the orange paper will have a higher temp, than we explain how we know the second experiment temps will not be as high as the first. Do you understand why there two parts to your responses now!
