Please help

OpenStudy (mokeira):

You want to prove that the value of angles at 1 and 4 are similar?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

angles 1 and 4 are conguent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*congruent

OpenStudy (mokeira):

|dw:1407250679620:dw| explanation coming

OpenStudy (mokeira):

It is poorly drawn but never mind... basically, m and o have the same value because the are corresponding angles. p and o have the same value because they are vertically opposite angles. therefore m=o=p They are congruent...Hope this helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, how would you put that in the form of statement 1, reason 1 statement 2, reason 2, etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also, where does it say that the two lines are parallel?

OpenStudy (mokeira):

I think I assumed they are parallel

OpenStudy (mokeira):

The arrows at the end of the line show they are parallel

OpenStudy (mokeira):

m=o because of their position in relation to the lines and the transversal line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thx

OpenStudy (mokeira):

im not yet in that level of mathematics ..Im jus using the basics I have

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gotcha. also wouldn't the lines be parallel because the same side interior angles are supplementary?
