OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

use the Sn formula for arithmetic series

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

what it the first term for the first one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/2

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

then what is the common difference?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure. I thought it was 1/2, but thats not the case.

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

why not?

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

why do you think it is not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh never mind....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not great at math...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 12.5 as the 25th term...

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

haha, what is essential is you learn. nobody is good at math for just some whims ask and observe and learn. let me ask you this question to get fron 1/2 to 1 what did we do and from 1 to 3/2 and so on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

+1/2 or .5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is the answer 25/2?

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

we are working towards that just bear okay haha

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):
