May you help me with this problem? @LarsEighner @FriedRice @phi

OpenStudy (cggurumanjunath):

a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got A as well, but I got stuck with option c.

OpenStudy (phi):

oh wait! Q to Q' is 90º clockwise or 270º cow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. is counterclockwise though not clockwise :/ I thought it has rotated clockwise 90 degrees or it has rotated counter clockwise 270 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ya, you got what I meant; so wouldn't it be C?

OpenStudy (phi):

a clock goes |dw:1407264258900:dw|

OpenStudy (phi):

Yes, it is C

OpenStudy (phi):

it's easy (for me) to get confused!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain to me the difference between where it would fall if it was D, instead of C?

OpenStudy (phi):

90º is ¼ of the way around the circle. if we pick the "middle" of the figure (and not worry about anything else) 90º clockwise would put us where Q' is another 90º would put us in the 3rd quadrant a final 90º would put us in the 2nd quadrant
