MEDAL HELP PLEASE Read this line from The Fall of the House of Usher: No portion of the masonry had fallen; and there appeared to be a wild inconsistency between its still perfect adaptation of parts, and the crumbling condition of the individual stones. What does the narrator mean to express to the reader in this line? There is a contrast in the way the house appears. This looks like a good place to live. He has been here many times previously. No one knows when the house was built.
