The point where they intersect is a common point in both lines. On f(x), you have a point (2,3), and you also find that point in your table for g(x). So that means that is the point where they intersect.
They DO intersect, so the last choice is not an option. But where do they intersect? Where x is a positive number or a negative number or zero? What is x when y is 3?
