How do I find the area of shaded sector? Total area is 113.04 and radius is 6 picture of circle: http://gyazo.com/c50abe8f2b845fa7787e13664dc9f753

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I heard this sight was good, but so far I haven't had any help.

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

*site Is ZCW = 120 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, TV=120

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

ZT = VW ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

What else is given?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Area of TV= 37.68 Area pf ZY= 28.26 Area of WX= 9.42

OpenStudy (mokeira):

you can use the area of TV to find the radius...r=5.998478935 Have you any information for VW?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know radius is 6, but it is difficult for me to find the measures of the other angles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I only know VW is congruent to TZ

OpenStudy (mokeira):

if zt=vw 360-(120+30+90)=120 so zt is 60 and wv is 60

OpenStudy (mokeira):

sorry that is wrong I hadnt seen c

OpenStudy (mokeira):

zx is a diameter so angles between zy and yx should ad up to 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if zx is diameter the angle c has to be 90 dedgrees but it does not have a 90 degree marking on it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry for my english

OpenStudy (mokeira):

I think that is part of the question. I think you were suppsed to find that its value is 90

OpenStudy (mokeira):

but you are right, there is a possibility of both. It is either 90 or not

OpenStudy (mokeira):

Your english is perfect

OpenStudy (mokeira):

is it is 90, tz and vw will be 15 each

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, you're right.

OpenStudy (mokeira):

Awesome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you for the help

OpenStudy (mokeira):

glad to help

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

ZX is not diameter. At least, I do not think so.
