why is carbon so special compared to other elements?

hi welcome to openstudy!

carbon is used A LOT we breath it out for the plants. carbon its useful to other elements by helping it not blow up like a bomb ALSO because to some other elements uses carbon is in their cycle. my point is carbon is a very usefully element to other elements and our plants :)

B ) Carbon atoms have four valence electrons and can form quadruple bonds.
C ) Only carbon atoms can form covalent bonds with oxygen and hydrogen.
D )Only carbon atoms can be dissolved in water solutions and suspensions.
