One theme evident in these lines from the passage is fear. Which other theme has the author brought in by depicting a contrast in ideas? My first emotions had been those of pure melancholy and sincerest pity; but just in proportion as the forlornness of Bartleby grew and grew to my imagination, did that same melancholy merge into fear, that pity into repulsion. practice test r meant to increase your performance level.. seeking help even in practise test aint wise.. you should complete it by yourself.. and try judging the answer on your own. this will help you develop your skills.. i hope i'm not rude and even though i got to my point!
