will medal !!!!! Solve the inequality 4z + 2 >-14 and determine for which of the following value(s) for z the inequality is true. Show your work and calculations. z=-4,-3, 5, 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9 is the most obvious answer, 9 times 4 is 36+2 is 38 and thats greater than -14

OpenStudy (amriju):

4z>-16=>z>-4...

OpenStudy (amriju):

so all except -4 are true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thanks lol

OpenStudy (amriju):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but wait how did u get the answer??? like ur calculations????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amriju , @JoshR1213

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just plug in the numbers, you can see what each equals and how it's greater than -14 just remember that a smaller number in negatives is greater than a bigger negative number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok now i get it lol thanks :D
