First we can subtract the three from both sides... -3x<3 Now when we divide we have to flip the sign swince we're dividing by a negative.. x>-1
−3x + 3 < 6 -3x<6-3 -3x<3 x>-1
\[-3x+3<6\] \[-3x <6-3\] \[-3x <3\] \[x > -1 \] the inequality sign changes because x is changed from negative to positive
