A number line with an open circle on -5, a closed circle on 8, and shading in between. A number line with an open circle on -5, shading to the left, and a closed circle on 8, shading to the right. A number line with a closed circle on -5, shading to the left, and an open circle on 8, shading to the right.

OpenStudy (puzzler7):

The sign is greater than or equal to, not greater than, so there is a closed dot. The less than sign, not less than or equal to, means there will also be a open dot. You can solve to get x<-5 and x>=8. The equations shade the way the sign points, so the first equation will shade left. Can you figure it from there?

I'm ppretty sure I got it. Is it the first one, A?

OpenStudy (puzzler7):

No. The shading and circles are wrong.
