I have these two equations. I know equation one is steeper, but I have to come up with an equation steeper than both of them. Eq1: y = –2x^2 + 6 Eq2: y = (-1/10)x^2 + 6

two questions: did you graph these? do you know how a slope is made?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes and Yes. I just have to come up with an equation that makes a line steeper than those

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the "draw" option and roughly draw the graphs that those equations make for me; we'll take this 1 step at a time

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have no clue how to do that

Where you type your reply in this box, there's a blue button that says "draw", just go ahead and draw a few lines in that window to show the graph :)
