You can make this into a right triangle like the one below.

Then you can use the Pythagorean Theorem:\[a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}\]where a and b are the legs (short sides, 3 and 4 above) of the triangle, and c is the hypotenuse (longest side, x above). BTW, I can't go as far as I used to, I got warned by a mod not to give answers.
