May you check my answer? I got answer D. @jim_thompson5910
Can you eliminate any immediately?
For my final answer I got D.
That's right. B is obviously wrong: this has nothing to do with lengths of sides. And A and C, while interesting, are just not pertinent. With the def that a straight angle is 180 degrees and D you can complete the whole proof.
:DD !
Could I post another on this thread?
Doesn't bother me.
Yes. I think you have marked it correctly. But the overall line of argument is not the one I would take.
"Not the one you would take?" Please explain your 3rd sentence.
If I were to prove it, I'd say if D is the midpoint of AB, then AD is 1/2 of AB, and if E is the midpoint of AC then AE is 1/2 of AC. Thus triange ABC and triangle ADC are similar because they have two proportional sides and the angle between the (the right angle) is equal to itself. Then angle AED is 62 from triangle sum and the corresponding angle ACB is 62
That however, is not the question you had.
Well... I think D. would be just a summary of information that could be elongated..
Right. It fits the argument you were given.
