all the numbers with the variable x. you add together. all numbers with variable z adds together. all numbers with variable y will be added together. 2x-2y+5z-2x-y+3z positive 2x plus negative 2x = no x 5z + 3z = 8z negative 2y plus negative y. invisible 1 infront of the y. -2y + -1y = -3y 8z-3y
