OpenStudy (abbyrose0105):

What is the conjugate of a complex number with −5 as the real part and 4i as the imaginary part?

OpenStudy (precal):

-5+4i and -5-4i are the complex conjugates

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-5-4!

OpenStudy (precal):

just remember that the 4i has the + and - in front of it, if one is given, you may assume the other per Conjugate Pair Theorem basically it means that complex numbers come in pairs

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

The conjugate of -5+4i is -5-4i

OpenStudy (abbyrose0105):

Thanks!

help me wid ma question :/
