consider these four sentences choose true or false for each one and find the answer 1) an ammeter should draw very little current compared with that in the rest of the circuit 2) an ammeter should have a high resistnace compared with the resistnaces of the other elemtnts in the circuit 3) to measure the current in a circuit element, the ammetet should be connected in series with the elment 4) connecting ammeter in series with the cicuit element causes at least a small reduction of the current in that element

I know that 2 is f 3 is t and i'm not sure about 4 if its f

@malkassir Ammeter is connected in series, so whatever current that passes through ammeter will pass through other circuit elements which are in series. For current to reduce even a bit, there has to be another path. However if they would have mentioned voltage, Yes there will a bit of voltage drop but certainly no current reduction.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which make 4 false ?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

yes, for certain it's false.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thnx alot I appreciate it I have another question can you help me out plz

OpenStudy (ash2326):

sure, please post as a new one.
