Find the slope of the line that passes through the points (3, -6) and (6, 12).

\[m=\frac{\Delta y}{\Delta x}=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\]

Delta notation is used for change, or average change. it is defined as
\(\Delta k = k_2-k_1\)
