With a topic such as music, conversation fuels creativity. And creativity causes us to want more tangible things. That will bring up questions surely. It's really something these non musician mods will never understand. Though they did put the very clear rules, they should be revised, and/or modified for this section, if they want music to be a useful asset to the 'openstudy' platform.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you @guitarplayer :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mods should be assigned by subject, and with more requirement for this one. The english obsessed, and math obsessed (I won't call anybody names: 'mods') don't know what they're saying. I strongly feel that way, and so does the rest of the community here. What we're doing is harmless and doesn't really affect anyone. The image of openstudy is not degraded, as only a small percentage of users visit this subject section. The music industry is all about networking and who you know, not at all what your title is, or what you study/studied. If think you want to have a music forum on your site, it should be a music forum. I'll argue all day with the support of the users here until we reach an agreement. (Just like in life, in this industry, I don't take no for an answer) Sounds more like you mods get pushed around in life, and take it out here on the friendly users. With all due respect of course, let's seriously converse. Let's be grown ups and mature teenagers. Don't be stuck up... Be factual and don't just repeat the inaccurate rules.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And another thing, to the non musician mods. Just because you're good at math or english doesn't make you some figure of authority. Be humble. Don't give snobbish answers and offer to help in the music section when you don't a know a thing about what you're saying. That's just counterproductive. The positive environment just goes downhill. Don't wonder why people don't post serious questions when you're to blame. If you don't agree with me, I'd love to know why. I'm not trying to start trouble, but have the absolute right to give you my opinion and speak my mind on behalf of me and the people who have actually learned something and made good friends/relationships on this site.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And too those that think that irrelevant conversational posts on this forum are degrading to the image of open study. What about first correcting the image from the part of open study people really know. Mathematics. So much illicit cheating, and things your against go on over there. So unless you have factual information, and proper logical reasoning to back up your claims.. We peacefully suggest you take your attention and oh so valuable time over there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@preetha @shadowfiend @turingtest Let's talk. Apparently these rules were created years ago. Let's revise them. I know the community wants a revision. Let us partake and advise/help you make this subdomain actually useful to your users.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@samsonite16 someone had to say it... And it sucks for the community filled with knowledgable/credible people that want to help. As in it's current state, they're not willing to take the tim to post or engage in these threads.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are awesome @guitarplayer :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Samsonite16 thank you :), what do you think? Let's hear your voice too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with you. Think you've pretty much said it all. :) @guitarplayer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with @guitarplayer, some of the mods have been a bit rude and rules should be revised.
