I'm pretty sure it's the cathode. I remember the terms: 'Redcat' and 'an ox' Reduction occurs at the cathode. Oxidization occurs at the anode.

I like to remember that Reduction and Cathode both start with consonants, and Anode and Oxidation both start with vowels.
