What is the first step when inscribing a square, equilateral triangle, or hexagon in a circle? Connect the endpoints of the diameters to form a square. Draw an arc that intersects the circle at two points. Draw a circle around a diameter. Connect all six points on the circle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nikato ? any ideas?

OpenStudy (nikato):

I think the one that makes sense is B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait second or last?

OpenStudy (nikato):

For A wouldn't u have to draw the diameter first? Same with C. And D, where did the 6 points come from. So through process of elimination, it should be B, drawing the arc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks!! could u help me with a few more similar to these?

OpenStudy (nikato):

Sure. I'll try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx one sec

OpenStudy (nikato):

OpenStudy (nikato):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nikato you there?

OpenStudy (nikato):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright illl tell u if you were right ! thanks for your help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it wasnt B :/

OpenStudy (nikato):

try C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nah i cant haha it was a pre test lol

OpenStudy (nikato):

because i know its not A because the pencil has to go beyond the center and D, i have no idea where they got three diamters. you should only have two

OpenStudy (nikato):

oh sorry. but it was only one question and its only a pretest. not that bad
