the y intercept is the (0,?) so let x = 0 and what is y?
OpenStudy (imstuck):
The y intercept occurs where x is 0.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
y=5

when x = 1 y=?
OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):
ok I guess we dont need two people doing the same thing...
OpenStudy (imstuck):
Use the slope formula for part B. The y2 would be your y value when x is 4, and the y1 would by your y value when x is 1. Then your x2 is 4 and your x1 is 1. It's the slope formula, really...rise over run...change in y over change in x.
OpenStudy (imstuck):
No...I'm gone. Sorry.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
when x = 1 y would equal 5 right
