this is easy. All you have to do is to put one constant on one side and the variable on the other.
do you know what constants and variable means?

ok. so you see there are constants on both sides. you have to eliminate one constant on one side. which number do you have to eliminate to get one variable on one side and constant only on the other?
\[y + (-4) = -15\] \[y - 4 = -15\] \[~~~+4 ~~~~~~ +4\] \[y = -11\]
