If e^2=e^(4x+7) then does 2=4x+7? If so...why? - Is it 'by the nature of equality'? I've heard this but I don't know what it means :) Thanks

so for example a^x =a^y than you see that the base (in this case a ) are the same in right side like in left side so than just you need make equale the exponents so in this case x=y hope you understand it
