OpenStudy (anonymous):

If an r-population is moved into an environment where it has no predators and it is left there for a very long period of time, what might eventually happen to the population’s reproduction strategy?

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

It will turn into K strategy, producing less amounts of offsprings. There would be no need to make a million babies(r-strategy) because the environment will become saturated with babies and not enough resource to keep them alive.
