post problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An equilateral triangle has and altitude of 6cm find the length of one side and find area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

equilateral triangles have all equal sides. the length of all sides would be 6cm. do you know how to find area?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Samantha1lehman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The altitude is 6cm not the side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whoops misread the question my bad.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh no it's fine:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well taking into account that all sides are equal, i would still go with 6 haha. I might be wrong though. give me a minute to check my work.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Of course!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a = 6.9282032302755 cm K = 20.784609690827 cm2 P = 20.784609690827 cm s = 10.392304845413 cm h = 6 cm This is what I got. This is for height. It does show the area though.
