These events are not independent (throwing a 4 is INCLUDED in throwing >3) - so use the formula for dependent events

so you start with 6/6 the probability that you will toss a 4 is 1/6. there is 3 numbers greater than 6. so 3/6 or 1/2. that is your answer.
