MIT 6.00 Intro Computer Science (OCW) 15 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just started the course. On the problem set 0, it says after I install Python and IDLE, I should familiarize myself with IDLE using exercises given in the handout. What and where is this "handout"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you look at the handout material on the left side of the screen on the 6.0 OCW page?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't see any handout materials there. I downloaded the course materials, but I found nothing there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All the handouts are in here. Look in Assignments and Exams. there is no specific item called 'handout'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm. The side of my screen doesn't look like that. It has Course Home, Syllabus, Software, References, Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3, Download Course Materials.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what course are you taking? That is a screen snip from the 6.0 course.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mine is also 6.0, but it says 6.0sc, which I assumed meant the spring semester but I do not see any alternate versions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

different versions... I think the SC means 'Scholar', and so MIT presupposes that you have more knowledge. I think.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you have a link where I can find the other version? I am certainly no scholar in computer science.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i found it!

you can use following url , will be helpful in explanation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Mf0h3HphEA&list=PL0213E8DC3AA8E21B
