help please Why was the repeal of the Judiciary Act of 1801 significance? It made crimes related to slavery enforceable by law. It established the trial by jury system that we know today. It was the first decision by the nation's new Supreme Court. It was the first time the Supreme Court overruled Congress and the President.

pretty sure this had something to do with setting up circuit courts with an odd number of judges so that they had to make a decision, but it could be wrong.
