Ok i got 48 feet and i need to convert 48 feet to centimeters. I got 1463.04 cm.. For the .04 part what do i do cause i know in adding and subtraction i do something.

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Forgive me if I'm wrong, other mathletes please correct me, but don't you just have to round? You used the google calculator to get 48 feet = 1463.04 So would you just round 1463.04 to 1463?

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

thats what i thought but im not sure and i need the answer in 10 min. cause im doing and essay for math

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

and thats all i need

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

2 finish

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@satellite73 please verify

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

Anyway I don't think the .04 really matters, I would just forget about it. @superhelp101 bb

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

*sigh* anyways i think my teacher will give me half of the credit on that question if i get it wrong ^_^ thanks any ways

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

lol should be my fan since im the flash and your batman ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're right 48 feet = 1463.04 cm

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

ok so what do i do with the ".04" part?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's all in cm

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

I would honestly just forget about it, its less then 5 percent were talking about. I may be wrong, but.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

so its just 1463 cm. ;ike what Cydney said?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't matter, unless it's asking you to round or something.

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

^^^^^ True.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

oh lol no its not ^_^

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

so.... the answer is 1463 cm. or do i add the decimal part?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

IDK, depends on your question.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

4) When you go to the store with your measurements, you find out that the dimensions of the paver stones are given in centimeters. Convert the length of the walking path from feet to centimeters. Use the following conversion factors: 1 ft = 12 in. and 1 in. ≈ 2 cm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But if it's 1 significant digit then yes 1463 cm

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

the amount of feet i got is 48 ft.

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

I would not add the decimal part, its not necessary. Also because google calculators often give extremely detailed answers like that, it would be a dead give away you cheated and did not find the answer yourself, Unless of course you did do it your self and you have the work to prove it.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

thanks Cyndey ^_^

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Cydney*

OpenStudy (cydney_morgan):

No problem! *nudges @iambatman * ty for helping bb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):
