What did the Stamp Act fund for the British? a) Trading posts b) Schools c) The military d) The Anglican Church
and i also have one more question
after i get the answer for this one
I think the answer is C. if you refer to this website: http://www.history.org/history/teaching/tchcrsta.cfm it says "The money collected by the Stamp Act was to be used to help pay the costs of defending and protecting the American frontier near the Appalachian Mountains (10,000 troops were to be stationed on the American frontier for this purpose)."
thats what i was thinking too
good :) what's your other question?
and i also have one more question if youre interested
Which European nation exhibited the least control over its colonies? The British The Spanish The French The Portuguese
I'm pretty sure it's the British because, again, if you look at this website: http://www.landandfreedom.org/ushistory/us3.htm it says "Spain and Portugal exerted strict control over their colonial inhabitants. However, the British were more lax in governing their colonies. For the first 150 years after the initial settlement at Plymouth, in Massachusetts, English control over the colonies was minimal"
wow thank you so much aha
no problem!
